Is there a way to restrict which workspace a team member can access?

Yes. Postman Business and Enterprise plans offer private workspaces that act as invite-only workspaces which are not visible to everyone in the team by default. Learn more in our “Introducing Private Workspaces” blog post.

Does a user need to be a member of the workspace to change/modify roles for other users in that workspace?

Yes. Users need to have admin access to a workspace to change or modify roles in that workspace. Learn more about roles and permissions at a workspace level.

Is it possible to version APIs in Postman? If so, what would be a good way to manage them?

Yes, you can version APIs in Postman, and you can easily manage them in Postman, too. You can get an overview and learn exactly how to do it at our versioning APIs documentation page.

Can I get more details about the “support-only” account user role?

Yes. Teams can add support accounts for two members of the team to perform admin tasks (e.g., adding and removing users, setting up SSO, and managing licenses) and billing tasks. However, these “support-only” members of the team can’t collaborate on APIs with the rest of the team. Individual support-only accounts allow you to manage your team economically and maximize the number of users.

How does version control work with Postman Collections?

You can use version control with your Postman collections, forking and merging using a standard pull request process. Learn more on our version control documentation page.
